Rich Clementi vs. Sam Stout
Rich Clementi will face Sam Stout at UFC 83 Serra vs St-Pierre 2. Clementi most recently fought Melvin Guillard and completely dominated the fight. At the time it was impressive, but that was when I thought Guillard was a better fighter. The thing I remember the most is Clementi trash talking even after the fight.
Clementi's opponent will be Sam Stout. I always remember Stout from his first fight with Spencer Fisher. The two fighters traded punches for most of the night and eventually Stout got the decision. After a loss to Kenny Florian, Stout rebounded with a win over Per Eklund.
My thinking is that Clementi will take this fight to the ground, putting Stout at a distinct disadvantage. However, if Stout is able to keep the fight off the mat I can see Stout winning a decision. In the end, I hope Stout wins this fight but I think Clementi wins via submission.
