What if Anderson Silva loses?
Every time a prominent fighter loses, somebody comes out and says they are too old or they are one dimensional. What will happen when Anderson Silva loses? It's bound to happen, it's only a question of when.
The first scenario is that he gets knocked out. I predict the first words out of somebody's mouth is that he has a weak chin. In fact, I don't remember ever seeing him get hit with a good shot so that may in fact be true.
The second scenario is that Silva gets submitted, this is probably less likely unless he fights Demian Maia. If that happens, expect somebody to say Anderson Silva is a one dimensional fighter.
The final scenario is Silva losing a decision. This seems the least likely scenario, but who knows. I guess he hasn't been past round 3 in the UFC, so its possible his conditioning will deteriorate into the fourth and fifth rounds.
The time will come when Anderson Silva loses and it won't really matter how he loses. The key will be how he rebounds from the loss. A second loss in a row and suddenly your career is over.
