Dustin Hazelett Picking Up Where He Left Off

Submitted by ufc on 11-18-09
Thomas Gerbasi, UFC - Everything was going so well for Dustin Hazelett. The Kentucky native had finally started to break through in the UFC's welterweight division, bouncing back from a competitive loss to Josh Koscheck with two straight 'submission of the night' wins over Josh Burkman and Tamdan McCrory in 2008. A fight at UFC 96 against Ben Saunders was scheduled, and then, snap, a torn ACL in his right leg took him out of the fight in January and out of action.
